Something a bit different this month – a ride into town to visit Columbia Road which is transformed every Sunday into an amazing flower market. It will be one of Alison Assiter’s renowned convoluted routes taking us through intriguing bits of north and east London. We will ride to the river Lea and then to Victoria Park and the Columbia Road flower market. We will find a way back along part of the Regents Canal. It will be a windy ride through parks and side roads and therefore not for those who want to step on it for exercise. Very approx. length of 20-25 miles from Tally Ho to the end of ride in London. Ride will end at Highbury & Islington where you can either ride the short distance to Kings Cross or Finsbury Park stations to get trains back to Barnet or the ride leader will lead those who want to cycle back, north towards Finchley.
