This ride is going west from High Barnet to the edge of the Chilterns at Chipperfield. About 39 miles round trip. A bit hilly, avoiding main roads and Watford, the route will take in Shenley, Bricket Wood and Kings Langley. Lunch at a garden centre cafe, with additional refreshment stop(s) if wanted. Leader Peter Ridehalgh says don’t be put off by the hills, we will take our time going up them. Usual monthly ride pace, around 10-11 mph.
Meet at 9.45 am outside Waitrose at the Spires Bandstand, Stapylton Road, Chipping Barnet for briefing and bike checks. Ready to leave at 10.00 am.
