NEW DATE – Ride: 30 October – Ride to Welwyn Cycle Track

A loop from High Barnet up to Welwyn cycle track, looping back via St Albans

This ride was originally planned for 23 October but was cancelled due to the weather. Now running a week later.

We will head out to Welwyn via Essenden to have a look at the famous Welwyn cycle track. After this we’ll head over to St. Albans on the traffic free Alban Way, and then skirt back around the bottom of Shenley and back via Ridge. The route will be mainly on quiet country roads, with some short off road bridleway sections suitable for all types of bikes. We expect to experience a glorious display of autumn colours on this last Sunday before the clocks go back!

The ride will be led by Paul Shipway. It is about 36 miles / 58 km, and we will ride at around 10/11 mph. This ride is suitable for steady riders and will include hills.

You MUST register if you want to join this event.

We can only take riders over 18 years old on this ride.
