To support more volunteers and work with the public the LCC have been developing new strategies with people acting as volunteers. These include ride leaders, marshalls, committee members, campaign supporters, events organisers, etc. Members who will be acting in these and other public facing categories are now asked to register on the LCC Volunteer Registration Form.

Together, we can create an unforgettable experience and make a real difference to all our incredible Walkers and all the charities and lives we aim to support through this event.
Please note registration for our Volunteers will close at Midnight on Thursday 16th May. If you or anyone you know is interested injoining our team ofCycle Marshals, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we can help to get them registered. Sunday 23 June: East Finchley Festival
The East Finchley Festival is on again this year at Cherry Tree Woods on Sunday 23 June. It is usually very busy with music, food and drinks stalls, and including local community stalls including us so please come and say hello. The festival is from 12-6.
We would love some volunteers to be on our stall to talk to people all things cycling and give away some goodies. Please let Penny know either via email pennylovatt@hotmail.com or via text 07958315711 if you are available to help for an hour slot or so on the day, including setting up & packing up.
REMINDER: Thursday 25 April – Meeting: Barnet Cycling Campaign – The Next Turn of the Pedal
We will start with a round-up of local news. After the coffee break we will have a discussion about the future of our local group. We need to gather views on the activities that can be run by our group and what can be realistically be offered. Some of the points we need to consider are how we present ourselves on our website, all rides and events must conform to LCC’s policy (formal risk assessments etc), group finances, registration of volunteers.
