The London Assembly gathers views through its Talk London discussion forum, and influences the Mayor, whose Transport Strategy is implemented by Transport for London (TfL). The Mayor and TfL also work in partnership with London’s boroughs through Local Implementation Plans (LIP) and funding.

TfL consultations cover London-wide initiatives, such as Low Emission Zones, TfL managed routes on main roads, Quietways and Mini-Hollands (now Liveable Neighbourhoods).
