Monthly Meeting – Zoom. Thursday 29 October 8pm

As the chances of meeting in person have once again slipped away from us, there will be an online meeting to catch up on what has been happening in the way of campaigns and rides on our usual last Thursday of the month. The first one will be Thursday 29 October at 8pm.

This meeting is open to members of the group and our local supporters only. In order to control attendance, and to make sure things run smoothly, if you wish to attend please send an email to alison.ewington@ntlworld.com. You will then be sent a link to the Zoom meeting a few days before the 29th.

MEETING REMINDER: Thursday 30th January: Monthly Meeting

First evening meeting of 2020. To start with we will deal with business as usual, have a cup of coffee with a chat and a chance catch up with what everyone has been doing. In the second half Ray Thorn will do ‘a show and tell’ about the bike he has adapted for night riding. And he does some extreme ‘night riding’!   Do come and share your tips for staying safe in the dark – bring any clothing and bits of gear you can recommend – or even advise not to waste time on!

Meet: 8pm Carey Hall, Trinity Church Centre, Nether Street, North Finchley N12.

All welcome.

Ride leaders wanted!

Ask not what your cycle club can do for you – ask what you can do for your cycle club! (Apologies to JFK). New year coming up and we need ride leaders for TUAGs and 3rdSunday rides. We have some ideas, and some vague offers to help, but we need to pin people and dates down.  Following on from our discussion on rides last year, we are planning have a follow-up at an upcoming evening meeting which we hope will help expand our rota of ride leaders. We have a core group of ride leaders who do such a great job but we need more people to come forward.

In the meantime, we need people to offer to lead rides on Sunday 16thFebruary and Sunday 15thMarch. If you can help please contact Alison at alison.ewington@ntlworld.com   or phone 01707 376282
