Thursday 27 October: Meeting – Bike Care – TLC to avoid tears

After our usual catch-up and coffee, we will have a very practical look at basic bike maintenance. The things you ought to check on a regular basis to keep your bike safe to ride and running smoothly. We will show a film made by the Forty-Plus Cycle Club, pausing now and then to demonstrate the points made on real bikes.

If you are new to cycling, or even a bit rusty on bike mechanics, then this is the meeting for you. Do you know how to adjust your brakes….if not…this is the meeting for you!

[Speaking of brakes….if anyone has a bike with ‘caliper brakes’ and can bring it to the meeting please email ianollier99@gmail.com]
