Saturday 10 Oct: Barnet Climate Action Week: Second-Hand Bike Market & Fixathon

Fixathon and Second-Hand Bike Market

  • Saturday 10 October, 11am-3pm
  • Cultivate Colindale, 14 Quakers Course, NW9 5XA

The event will bring together two activities designed to support more sustainable lifestyles:

  • Fixathon: Residents can bring along broken household items and clothing for repair as Barnet joins other London boroughs in an attempt to set a new repair record.
  • Second-hand bike market: Around 20 refurbished bicycles will be available to purchase at affordable prices, helping more people access cycling. Residents will also be able to donate unwanted bikes on the day, which will then be assessed and refurbished by Pedal UK before being sold at a later date. All net proceeds from bike sales will be donated to Cycle Sisters.

We thought this event may be of interest to your community, whether they’re looking to purchase a bike, donate an unused bike, support a great cause, or simply get involved!
